Scout Onslaught Tower and see if you can find Archlord Lionfang. I don't imagine this will be that simple but the fates have been with us so far. Search every room and return to me for further instruction.

The Golden Onslaught soldiers are not affected by the Death Fog. We have to find out how they are blocking the effect. Search 8 of the soldiers and keep your eyes open for anything unusual.

Every living Golden Onslaught Soldier in here is carrying, somewhere on their person, a Death Fog Protection Amulet. Do what you must to recover at least 4 Amulets.

Archlord Lionfang's field alchemy skills are well known by the Shadowscythe Army. This Death Fog is an interesting creation but we can neutralize the effects with the amulets. I will need several alchemical reagents to chance how they function. Search the tower and bring me 8 alchemical reagents.

The amulets are almost ready to neutralize the effect of the Death Fog for anyone in range, but their power needs to be amplified. Take these to Empress Gravelyn and ask her cast a darkness enchant on them, then bring them back to me.

  • Talk to Gravelyn (NPC) and click the 'Enchant the Amulets' button

The amulets are fully powered but for them to protect everyone in the area, you will need to place them in four key locations through the tower. I have drawn you a map. Make sure that you have placed all 4 amulets exactly where they need to be and return here.

Now that the Death Fog has been neutralized, it is safe for us to free the captives. The key to the dungeon must be around Onslaught Tower somewhere. Search 6 of the soldiers and return if you find anything.

The key to the dungeon must have been hidden somewhere in the tower by the soldiers. Search every room until you find where the dungeon key is hidden and bring is back here as soon as you can!

In searching the tower, the Shadowscythe troops have uncovered a trunk of Lionfang's personal dress armor and weapons for formal occasions. Many of the troops would like to claim these items as the spoils of war. Bring me one of his lion's claws and I might decide to give them to you.
