Now that you've been informed about the situation, I'll allow you free passage between my realm and yours. Before we can defeat this… Nightmare Carnax, we must first learn about how it rises, and how to stop it. You've fought this beast before- or at least, a simulacrum of it. Go fight it again, and glean some information.

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

It seems like as long as there are those who remember it, the beast will be able to regenerate itself. Thankfully for us, it doesn't seem to be generating multiple bodies. So, while we cannot kill it, I think we can find a more permanent way to seal it. Bring me the supplies so that I can begin the ritual. Bring me the mane of a Nightmare in Deadmoor, Chitin of a NightWyrm in the City of Dreams, Sheer Horror from All Fears in that bounty hunter's wonderful Fear House, and the horn of a certain nightmare-ish Unicorn from the Doom Vault.

The beast will not go quietly. It is confused, scared, and over 300 feet tall. I'll need you to weaken it so that it does not resist the sealing. However, be cautioned that the sealing spell is a one way entry- once you go in, you'll have to defeat the beast, or find your own way out. Battle the beast and take apart its nightmarish visage.

The beast has been subdued again. Whether forever, or only for a time, only the future will tell.
