Guardian of the M-Magnu[ERROR] Lord of Castaigne Hall
Volgritian's as healthy as the horses he ate. That's one emergency surgery, a set of wings, the ability to switch between his original Dragon form and a new humanoid form, a cool set of armor, a shocking lance! I've done the math, and the bill isn't anything crazy. It's pocket change, really… and a favor. What the time comes, let me walk out of here. Oh, I'l be giving you a lot of trouble later, but for now, I'm not worth the trouble.

I can control all sorts of doodads remotely, but I prefer being hands on with my patients.Surgery
That duel with the twins, on top of centuries of captivity, wrecked Volgritian. He would have been a goner if you didn't send him my may. Halfway through the surgery, Volg woke up and realized what I was doing… and what else I was capable of. Now, he can travel anywhere with you. No more disguises, or having to wait outside feeling useless. Think this'll catch on with other Dragons? Well, it's more of a matter of 'when' rather than 'if'.I've got the veterinary bill ready for you, but don't let Volgritian hear that. No need to frown. I'm not asking for enough gold to set me for life. I just need enough to pay rent, and make up for lost time. See, I have a niece and being stuck in here kept me from giving her support when my brother died. Oh? You think I'm joking? Come now, supporting your family isn't a joke.
Aside from gold, you owe me a favor. Forge Maleno just received some new guards, and I plan to walk out with them. Volgritian got an entirely new form with my Forbidden Magic, and I got jealous. I decided to make one for myself. If you let me go, I'll definitely get to mess with you later. You know I won't be able to resist, but that's the least of your worries.

Guardian of the M-Magnu[ERROR] Lord of Castaigne Hall
You need Carcossa's Doom Spirits to take on The Law, but Astero and Eos are trying to eat them while they're stuck in cryostasis. Wipe out those fanatics, and you win. If we run out of Doom Spirits, you lose. Simple!

That jolt of energy Volgritian gave Carcossa kickstarted engines I didn't know we had. It's enough juice to get the starship flying again…Astero
Give me a rundown of your last few encounters with Astero. Mhm, sounds to me like Plan A, Plan B, and even Plan C didn't work out. Astero purposely released the Doom Triad to give people a reason to fund and join the Lightguard, but Gravelyn had you to rely on. She didn't need Astero. Zhoom and the Sandsea had you too, so they weren't desperate enough to let the chandelier take the wheel. I think Aleister's golden flames aren't enough either.
What does he want now? I don't have all the answers. You know Astero more than I do. That said, eating Doom Spirits and taking on their qualities is definitely a choice… Let's put that into perspective. He can't be choosy about the mutations, but maybe the Spirits have something he envies. You know, it's crazy. Doom Spirits are allowed to roam Lore, even ones as big as the colossus was, but the Avatars can't even hang out here for five minutes.
Eos
Condemnatio Memoriae struck the Doom Triad from all memory and records, but I guess those involved in the process have some recollection, or at least a gut feeling. After Ouroboros and Aophis were defeated, their own kin rubbed salt in the wound by casting them away. Eos must have been a special case. She's feared by the Shadows as well as the Light. At this point, you have to assume the Light did something to deserve her wrath.Carcossa
Captain Zigfried already gave all the essentials. What else do you want to know about Carcossa? Let me flip through the crew's logs… The Starship's voyage went on for a long while before they reached their destination. Crew members were even born on the ship. A nursery was built to accommodate them. Dr. Cassilda oversaw their care, of course. She had human and non-human infants sharing incubation chambers.

I got some of the doors unlocked. You'll be able to reunite with Dahlia and the others eventually, unless Astero gets to them first. Hang in there! It won't just be Astero's cronies now. I'm sure Eos' followers are starting to join in on the fun.

As for what remains of the Doom Triad… heartbroken's a good word to describe it. Sigrid is helping me convince them to try something. Celeritas retreated to her Plane, and Astero is… gone? Hard to say. So, Try Doomknight, ready for lift-off?

Guardian of the Magnum Opus Forges
Go ahead and punch my face, if you want. It won't kill me or make me cry, but you should feel awesome for a second or two. That's a perfectly good reason to shoot the messenger. And speaking of shooting… higher protocols I can't disobey are telling me to fire at Warlic and the intruders. I could tell you why they're here, but that'd ruin the joy of discovery, don't you think?
Forge
The fires of Forge Maleno bring impurities to the surface, and Albedo purify them. That's an awfully simple way of putting it, but you don't need more explanation than that for swords and axes. Now if you shoved a person into the oven, that's a whole different story. You and Warlic haven't been intentionally roasting yourselves, but sometimes catching the fumes is enough. Like what you've been seeing in the mirror lately?
Crew
Interesting query. Forge Maleno is a run-down wreck compared to Albedo. The Labs survived the crash and passage of time particularly well. That means I have working droids to keep the halls clean. As for the [EXISTENCE UNVERIFIABLE] members, Captain Zigfried and his Mentor were the ones who launched Starship Carcossa. It was operated by 500 Runehawk personnel, and contained 2000 specimens- including the captain's partner Bryn.
Credentials
As the Guardian of the Magnum Opus Forges, I technically control all of their functions, but still have to follow commands left by its original Admins. Here's something you might find interesting: this is a Runehawk facility. That means people with the same biological profile as very specific blue individuals can give orders that supersede my authority… namely, the head of Runehawk and the Dean of G.E.A.R.S.

If it'll make you smile, Volgritian's doing fine back on Mount Albedo. I'll send you my fee, and a little heads up. Warlic's on his way.

Warlic dropped by with Volgritian, and delivered your promise. Normally, I'd be happy with patching the booboos and letting you continue with your adventure. But oh, the temptation… it was too much to pass up! I was fine being just a funny footnote in your story, and certainly wasn't expecting a chance like this. Don't worry. I won't ask for anything unreasonable. I'm just looking for an opportunity to get this version of me back on the page.

I was excited to see you at my door. Shame Celeritas' fan club got there first. Unfortunately, Astero was with them. It's kind of loud in here, isn't it? You saw the same vats of funny cherry juice back in Forge Albedo, right. Astero saw the same thing in Forge Citrinitas, and told his Paladins to take them back to Fort Luma. The roses are thirsty, and that resulted in the miracle of birth. I see I've caught you in your darkest hour. Warlic's past- one of them, at least- caught up to him. Aleister was forced to accept the truth, and Astero made a fool out of your Shadows on top of getting away with most of what he wanted. But hey, I know how this goes. This is where that grit of yours kicks in. *static* Ouch, what a piercing glare! Should you really be doing that while I'm in the middle of treating Volgritian back in Albedo?
