You need Carcossa's sleepy Doom Spirits to defend Lore from The Law, but they won't be much help if Astero's Lightguard and Eos' Followers make meals out of them. Don't hold back now! We don't have time to be nice.
Back when Starship Carcossa was still flying through space, its crew took part in any wars they came across to keep the lights on. Their medals were collecting dust in storage. Let's take this opportunity to recycle them. It's good for the environment!

Asteo and Eos' minions are having a feeding frenzy gorging on the sleeping Doom Spirits. Running out of Doom Spirits is bad, but imagine how those two are going to mutate. As much as I'd like to see it, you definitely can't let that happen.
We're running low on Mega Medals, so I'm going to run Carcossa's 3D printers on all cylinders. You're asking if that's a smart way to expend energy? No, but it's fun, and you need a morale booster. I can't just hand out I.O.U. tickets.

Those Undead Priestesses are attacking you and the Lightguard. Ouroboros says they smell like Eos, which means she's using necromancy to keep up with her rivals. Astero's having problems thinning their numbers, so it looks like you'll have to do all the work.
Long before you started adventuring, certain castles and temples would be 'blessed' by entombing a living Light Priestess into the walls. Records say this was done willingly, but I don't know. I've got some doubts.

It's, heheh, chaos out there. Members of the Lightguard ate Doom Spirit pieces, and mutated uncontrollably. They look like squids without the pointy caps. We don't know what they're capable of, and it's best to chop them up before we find out.
Ouroboros can tell that these 'creatures' mutated because they were feeding off of his fellow Doom Triad member, Apophis. The Lightguard was keeping him alive to slice up like a prosciutto leg. Nasty stuff.

Ouro had his Elves and snakes, Apophi's Anubians and Lamias were in the wait. As for Eos, her Soulsworn just crashed the party. Those extra players are tipping the odds in her favor, so how about you iron that wrinkle?
The creatures beneath the masks are Shadows, or even other creatures of Darkness. Whatever clouded their memories was cleared, and they came all the way here to find Eos. Whatever she did for them… they decided it's worth more than their own lives. Oof, I'm jealous.

Eos is in the lead, and her baby boy isn't going to let you catch up without a fight. Dryden, huh? Doomknight Dryden rolls right off the tongue. Think you can knock him down before his mom finishes her dinner?
If Ouroboros, Apophis, and Eos suddently split off into different directions, who do you think Dryden would follow? I'm of the mind that he'd just split in three himself. When Dryden's calm enough to realize that Ouro and Apophis are in trouble, he'll lower his blade.

Eos is in the primary Cryostasis Chamber. Astero is tangled up in Ouroboros, and the rest of your comrades are holding up the Lightguard. No one's going to interrupt you. Defeat Eos, and Carcossa is yours.
Tick tock. Tick tock. No more seconds left on the clock.
